4G Didactic Pills
The project proposal is based on the Communication from the Commission to the European Parliament, the Council, the European Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of the Regions “Combating early school leaving: A key contribution to the Europe 2020 Agenda“.
The project intends to develop and disseminate a pedagogical method, based on the theoretical foundation of the “Didactic Pill” focusing on life skills, with the aim of preventing and/or addressing the phenomenon of early school leaving.
The project partnership, on the basis of the respective roles and responsibilities of the members, will experiment territorial actions in schools to foster and fluidify the contact dynamics between the school system and the young population (up to 18 years) in order to reduce the phenomenon of school drop-out, with particular regard to SEN, using ICT as a key factor of innovation and change in education and training and for learning in general.
At methodological level there are two central elements of this project:
life skills, understood as competences to be enhanced in order to improve the relationship with oneself and therefore also with learning and schools
technology as an enabling factor for learning, including distance learning, and as a factor that reduces the distance between students with and without special needs.
Both these elements favour the improvement of school performance and the permanence of students with SEN (but, more generally, of all students) at school.
